Why are wallet connects showing without attributed value?

Wallet connects are appearing in the journey report, but attributed onchain value remains zero after test deposits. The contract and network look correct. Which event fields should I inspect first?

Accepted answer
A wallet connect proves identity but does not create value by itself. Confirm the deposit transaction matches the configured chain, contract, event signature, and value field for the goal.

This was the token decimals setting for us. The event indexed, but the amount could not be normalized until we changed the asset from 18 decimals to 6.
