How do I add a staging domain without it affecting my live analytics?

We're deploying campaign changes to a staging subdomain before pushing to production, but I don't want staging traffic to show up in our conversion reports. Should I add the staging domain to connected sites, or will that pollute our data?

Its going to pollute your data. any domain you add will get reported in the dashboard. Only put the tracking code on your production site that you actually want to analyze

brightsignal is correct. If you add the tracking pixel to your staging site it will show with your production data. dont do it if you want the data clean.
