How are teams naming conversion goals for multi-step funnels?

We track wallet connect, trial creation, and paid activation. I am curious whether teams use short event names or group them under one funnel so reports stay readable when several sites share the workspace.

We use verb-first names such as Connected wallet, Created trial, and Activated subscription. The event key stays technical, but the display name reads naturally in client reports.

Separate goals have been easier to compare than one umbrella goal. We group them mentally as funnel stages and keep a short prefix only when two products share a workspace.
