Can I schedule a press release before every placement is confirmed?

The announcement is embargoed until Tuesday at 9:00 AM Eastern. Two placements are confirmed and one is still pending. Can the order be scheduled now without risking an early publication?

Yes, the publication time can be set while placements are pending. A pending publisher is not allowed to publish before it accepts the order and the embargo time has passed.

I would still put the timezone in the release notes. We use the scheduled time as the source of truth and repeat it in the brief so editors see it immediately.
